ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have welcomed the unanimous verdict of the Supreme Court five-day constitutional bench on Saturday for the long-awaited and politically sensitive Ramzan Bhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute. Meanwhile, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has raised objections to the Ayodhya verdict.

Qureshi said the Ayodhya verdict was a coincidence on the day of the inauguration of the Kartapur corridor. The report stated that it was insensitive to such an inaugural event.
On the day of the inauguration of the Kartapur corridor, there was an urgency to issue a verdict of Ayodhya. It could have delayed a few days to pass judgment. Dawn News TV reported that it was indeed a painful affair.
